Wow, this has got to be the Christmas of my lifetime so far. So many good times. I think it's an example of the Age of Aquarius at work...
This shitty ass economy has done wonders for the expression of the human spirit. This holiday season has been the most raw, honest and sexy of my short life.
My plans for Christmas Day are to walk around the city of Niagara Falls spreading Christmas cheer with my nephew who I affectionately call "Doughnut" (his name is Doug and don't worry, there will be a Facebook album).
I have had so many wonderful discussions with people about "the reason for the season", and even those who are usually over the top when it comes to superficial things have amazed me with their determination to simplify Christmas (my best friend Chantal's mother!).
I also love how the face of Christianity is slowly changing as well... I am reminded of a (brief) discussion I had with one of my favourite Jews (Jeff Rotman) about how Jesus was an awesome prophet... and nothing else. Makes me think that the Age of Pisces is more than just the Age of Christianity, but also the Age of Judaism and Islam... and the fact that everyone in their belief system thinks that they're right (hmmm... sounds like every major genocide and conflict of the past 2000 years). One of my new mantras is "the worst thing you can do to yourself is always think that you're right". It's absolutely, most definitely, impossible to always be right.
I think my next post will have to be about the Bible and some really cool symbols... I will have to study a bit about how Islam, Judaism and early Christianity all stem from delicious Old Testament pieces.
Merry Christmas, hug a stranger for me today. I will be hugging LOTS!

Age of Aquarius, Part... whatever.
Ok, my mass audience of Aquarians, I have returned from another one one of my many episodes and am ready to continue.
Aquarius is ruled by Saturn and Uranus. Saturn is the planet of authority and Uranus is the planet of anarchy. I find this fascinating. As I mentioned before, different astrologists believe different things when it comes to when the Age dawned/will dawn. I believe it began during the free love movement of the '60s (for a number of reasons).
Think about your life and those around you. We kind of are authoritative anarchists.
This being said, I don't believe that the transition from one age to another can be pinpointed to an exact day or time. Especially since it's obvious that different parts of the world will experience the influence of Aquarius at different times. It spreads spatially and socially.
Overall, my message is that the next 2000 years will lead humanity into prosperity (not necessarily monetary). All that you have to do is keep doing what you're doing 'cause it's all in the stars.
Keep dreaming,

P.S.: Feel free to leave comments. I have been overwhelmed with examples of the influence of Aquarius and would like to hear/read your thoughts.

Age of Aquarius... continued.
At long last...
I really struggled with what I was going to write about on this topic.
I was actually planning on boring you with the physics behind it all - precession of the equinoxes, etc. Thank God I gave this a lot of thought.
First of all, I feel it's necessary to discuss the astrological Age that precedes Aquarius. Pisces.

The Age of Pisces is believed to span the years 1 A.D. - 2000 A.D. If you read the literature, these years are very much an approximation (The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need).
As you all probably know, Pisces symbol is the two fishes. The ruling planet of Pisces is Jupiter.
Jupiter is the plant of expansion, growth and long voyages (particularly spiritual and intellectual in nature). At its best, Jupiter is the planet of generosity and luck, at its worst it is greedy.
The co-ruler of Pisces is Neptune. I believe Neptune has less influence on this Age - it is a planet of transformation, intuition, greed and fraud.
Pisces is a mutable sign meaning that it is unstable; Pisceans in general, however, are also quick to adapt to their environment. Pisces is also a water sign. Individuals under water signs are sensitive and emotional (hello, I'm a Scorpio!). Pisces, in particular, s a sign of religious and mystical spirituality.
Pisceans can be imaginative, perceptive, manipulative and are successful on the stage (politically and religiously). Piscean stories encompass the theme that appearances can be deceptive.
To me, it is no coincidence that the Age of Pisces is/was the Age of Christianity as we know it. Jesus, after all, was a fisher of men.
Think about that and I'll get back to you about this Aquarius stuff...
